Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim has assured that the Professor Chukwuma Soludo administration will commission more roads in the state and will complete all the projects in due time.

The Deputy Governor gave the assurance during Christmas Sunday service at St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Mbaukwu in Awka South Local Government Area.

Deputy Governor Ibezim who reemphasized that the present administration is out to serve and work for the state, said that Ndi Anambra’s expectations from the government will be actualized.

He attributed all the successes already recorded by Soludo’s administration to the ability of the government to put God first in all things, and expressed hope that God will not fail them.

Dr Ibezim while wishing Ndi Anambra merry Christmas and a prosperous new year, called on Christians to use the period of Christmas to show love to others especially the vulnerable and downtrodden in the society.

Earlier in a sermon, the Vicar of St Lawrence Anglican church, and Archdeacon Mbaukwu Archdeaconry, Venerable Chukwudi Ezeobi who spoke on the topic, “ Grace, the dominant Note on Christmas”, reminded Christians that the life and every good thing they have, including their salvation are made possible through the grace of God, encouraged them to honour God with their lives.

Venerable Ezeobi cautioned Christians especially the young among them, against celebrating Christmas like others who see the season as a time to commit various degrees of atrocities, even as he prayed for God’s protection and blessings upon them this period and throughout 2023.

Renditions by the choir, thanksgiving and testimony featured at the service.
