It was expression of joy for the family of Chief Chris Ezenyimulu and wife Dr. Chioma, the Executive Secretary , Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency, as they dedicated their second child, Otito, at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church UNIZIK Temp Site Awka.
The couple, who were excited and dressed in beautiful apparels and accompanied by family and friends, danced joyously as they took the little Otito Roosevelt Ezenyimulu to the altar.
In a homily, the officiating priest, Reverend Father Vincent Nwajagwu, emphasized the importance of child dedication and urged the family to raise the child in a godly way, while admonishing the congregation to use the celebration of Christmas to put smiles on the faces of people around them.
The Parish Vicar One, Reverend Father Alphonsus Obiekezie, thanked God for the gift of the new born child to Ezenyimulu family and congratulated them.
During a reception shortly after the Holy Mass at the state Health Care Development Agency, attended by several celebrities including the traditional ruler of Amesi Community, Igwe Ralph Okpalaeke, who is the newborn baby’s Godfather, felicitated with the celebrants and prayed God to continue to protect the child, whom he described as a special gift from God.
Responding, Chief and Dr Ezenyimulu, appreciated God for the gift of a new baby after their first child, Adaeze, which coincided with the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
