Governor Chukwuma Soludo has commended security operatives for their concerted efforts during the yuletide.

 

Governor Soludo gave the commendation during a statewide broadcast.

 

Government House Correspondent, Ejike Abana reports that Governor Soludo tasked Ndị Anambra on playing their vital role of volunteering information to security operatives.

 

The Governor pledged his administration’s commitment to improving security of lives and property throughout the yuletide and beyond.

 

The Governor called for more checkpoints and stressed that criminals want the security forces off the road, pledging to continue to strengthen the road blocks and other measures.

 

While commending those who donated to the security trust fund to ensure a safer homeland, the Governor also extolled those who sacrificed and put their lives on the line.

 

He warned criminals in different hideouts to still embrace the olive branch, stressing that the government is prepared to work with them to give them a new and better future.

 

While stating that this year’s Christmas in Anambra witnessed the freest traffic flow, the Governor who noted that it is the first Christmas that he is celebrating in office, felicitated with Ndi Anambra and wished that the year ahead will be more blessed and productive.
