Miss Oluebube Nwandu has emerged the winner of the maiden edition of Face of Inspiration International 2022 Beauty Pageant powered by Inspiration 101Plus Magazine held at Professor Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre Awka.

 

The event which is the grand finale of the Beauty Pageant attracted families and friends of the contestants, awardees, government functionaries, showbiz personalities among others.

The event started with red carpet with the host Collins Ugochukwu showcasing the five contestants who walked the run way adorning different costumes at intervals, dancing to various musical tunes.

 

There were also various performances by artistes at intervals to spice up the show.

Speaking at the event, the Convener, Mr Chinonso Nweke, explained that the essence of the Beauty Pageant and award ceremony was to provide a platform for Anambra youths to showcase their talents and rediscover themselves.

 

Mr Nweke added that because of his passion for health, he included Free medical tests for participants to encourage everyone to always check their health status in order to prevent avoidable deaths.

He also appreciated his sponsors including the Hilton Leisure, Classic Makeup, Vero Foods, Above Hair, Chinox among others.

 

In her remarks, the Director of Entertainment and Diaspora Affairs, Mrs Nneka Nwankwo, pointed out that the event revealed several activities the Soludo administration has embarked on to boost the entertainment industry in Anambra State.

 

In his comment one of the awardees from Oba, Chief Okwudiba Anyaora, appreciated the magazine for the Community Leadership award given to him.

Also speaking, Chief Ugochukwu Anene who received the award on behalf of his brother, Chief Alex Anene, for his contributions to youth development and appealed to government at different levels to create employment for Nigerian youths to prevent them from engaging in vices because of idleness.

 

Other awardees include, Chief Anenechukwu Uba, a Nollywood veteran, Mr Clemson-Cornell Nnonyelu, and others.

 

In an acceptance speech, the winner of the contest, Miss Nwandu promised to take the brand, Inspiration 101 Plus Magazine to international level and promote humanitarian services wherever she goes.

 

Miss Precious Nwafor was the first runner up, while Miss Anna Chiamaka Okechukwu was the second runner up.
