The bishop on the Niger, Right Reverend Owen Nwokolo has said that year 2023 will bring comfort, healing and solution to people’s problems.
In his new year message, Bishop Nwokolo defined year 2023 as a year of development and transformation as the Lord, who is the owner of the earth will do new things that will surprise everybody.
He urged people to surrender their plans to God noting that new year comes with new vision and expectations where Nigerians want to see a change in the way the economy, education and resources of this country are managed.
He encouraged people not to fear as God, who is the chief pilot will see them through pointing out that insecurity is the greatest challenge in year 2022 as it affected churches, markets, schools and government, calling for constant prayer from all.
On 2023 General Elections, Bishop Nwokolo noted that INEC has fashioned out their own system and has gone from one stage to another to improve on their professionalism in handling election matters to guarantee a free and fair election.
He commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the steps he has taken so far to get it right advising him to stand up against negative forces that will make him not to deliver on his mandate and assured to constantly pray for him.
