The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has organized a prayer session for the new year and appreciated God for His grace and mercies in the past years.

The prayer session started with worship, praises, and dance by the staff of the Ministry.

In a sermon the Rector institute of Theology and Missions Enugu Diocese, Venerable Tim Agbo who spoke on the topic; Be strong and courageous, said despite all the challenges and problems experienced in the past year it is important to thank God for His blessings.

Venerable Agbo charged staff of the Ministry to rise up for the task ahead in the New Year in order to succeed.

He admonished them to trust in God urging them to brace for changes that will arise in the course of their work.

He also advised them to focus on their jobs and avoid distractions in order to achieve their goals.

Venerable Agbo later thanked Commissioner for Lands Professor Amucheazi, his permanent secretary, Mr. Ejike and the staff for the opportunity to minister to them and prayed God to bless them.

On his part, the Commissioner for Lands Professor Offornze Amucheazi SAN said he decided to organize the prayer to thank and praise God for His mercies and grace.

Professor Amucheazi, however, solicited the cooperation of his staff to achieve the set goals for the ministry and called on them to work towards achieving the Governor’s desire to build a livable and prosperous State.
