A life well lived, really calls for celebration.
Little wonder the children of the late Chief Charles Ihemjirika Amasiatu, gave him a befitting burial attended by people from all walks of life.
 Staff and management of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, who came to commiserate with one of their own, Barrister Juliet Mbonu-Ike-Amasiatu were not left out.
In a homily during a burial mass at Saint John’s Catholic Church Akuma, Reverend Father Femian Nwozor, affirmed that the late Chief Amasiatu lived a good life and served God and humanity, urging the children to emulate his good legacy.
He charged the congregation to live a true Christian life, live good legacies, keep the commandments of God, love God and their fellow human beings.
In a vote of thanks, one of the sons of the deceased, Nze Uche Amasiatu, thanked all, who came to commiserate with them and prayed for God’s blessings upon them, as he described their late father as a hardworking man, who trained them on how to be dedicated and hard working.
Also speaking, the first daughter of the deceased, Barrister Mbonu-Ike-Amasiatu, who is the Director, Legal Services, ABS, said that their late father was a leader, intelligent and nice to his community, who toiled to make his children what they are today, urging her siblings to tow the path of their late father.
She appreciated the ABS family and all, who came to commiserate with them.
For the last son of the deceased, Mr. Obidinma Amasiatu, while defining their late father as a good man, an icon and a great mentor to him, assured to keep his legacies.
On his part, the Managing Director of the ABS, Sir Chido Obidiegwu, represented by an Administrative Officer, Mr. Afam Obidike, urged Amasiatu family to take solace in the fact that their father lived a good life.
Dances by Catholic Men’s Organisation, groups, condolences by in-laws, relations, associates, friends and well-wishers climaxed the burial ceremony.
