The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer ofAwka Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA, Mr. Ossy Onuko has cautioned land developers within the capital territory against embarking on any construction without approvals from the agency.
Mr. Onuko who stated this while speaking to the ABS in his office in Awka noted that Awka Capital Territory Development Authority will not hesitate to remove any building that was built without approval.
He maintained that the agency will continue to deliver on the mandate envisaged before creating it and made it clear that no amount of pressure from any quarter will make Awka Capital Territory Development Authority to compromise.
Mr. Onuko advised those trading along the highways within the jurisdiction of the agency to stop forthwith or face the wrath of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, even as he warned those pasting posters on the flyovers in Awka to desist from such ugly behaviour.
According to Mr. Onuko his team will continue with all the Projects they embarked upon last year like operation zero potholes, clean and green initiative, removal of illegal structures among others.
He urged Ndi Anambra to keep supporting the Governor Chukwuma Soludo led administration for a prosperous and livable homeland.
Mr. Onuko advised staff of the agency to always be professional in the discharge of their duties.
