A Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Chief Boniface Egbutu says the appointment of Governor Chukwuma Soludo as the National leader of the party will no doubt reposition it for more efficient service delivery.
Speaking to Newsmen at the Dr Alex Ekwueme square in Awka during the inauguration of APGA campaign for this year’s general election, Chief Egbutu described APGA as the third largest political party in Nigeria with progressive spirit.
He called on the people to join the APGA train in addition to voting for the party candidates to ensure that APGA gets the majority at the Anambra State House of Assembly for sustainable development across the State.
Chief Egbutu who is also a community leader at Nise in Awka South Local Government Area called on Ndi Anambra to take full ownership of the State.
He reminded the people of the need to obtain their permanent voter cards in order to take active part in the forthcoming elections.
Chief Egbutu used the opportunity to commend Governor Chukwuma Soludo for having a different approach to governance through his people-oriented programmes and policies.
Chief Egbutu described the massive turnout of people during the inauguration of APGA campaign for this year’s election as a clear indication that the party is grassroot oriented.
