The member representing Orumba South Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Emma Nwafor has called on his constituents to collect their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, to be able to participate in the 2023 general elections.
House of Assembly Correspondent,Chukwuemeka Modilimreports that the legislator made the call while speaking to journalists after plenary in Awka.
Honourable Nwafor, who described the voter card as the only tool with which the electorate can effect the desired change in Nigeria, observed that a lot of uncollected PVCs are still in various political wards across the state.
He reminded his constituents who registered for the voter card last year but have not collected them that collection is still ongoing at the wards where they registered to vote.
The legislator urged eligible voters not to sit on the fence; but to participate actively in the nation’s electoral process in order to elect credible leaders into offices in the coming 2023 general elections
