The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Honourable Dozie Nwankwo has inaugurated his campaign at Ezinator in Awka South Local Government Area ahead of the February twenty-fifth, 2023 general elections.

 

His campaign train which visited the three communities that make up Ezinator, community namely Ndiorah, Ndikpa and Ntokor was received by jubilant crowds who chanted songs of joy and demanded for the election of the lawmaker to the Senate.

Similar crowd also received Honourable Nwankwo and his campaign team at Umuawulu, Nise, Mbaukwu and Amawbia communities also in Awka South Local Government Area.

At each of the communities visited, Honourable Nwankwo, accompanied by a former Commissioner for Power, Water Resources and Public Utilities in Anambra State and APGA candidate for Awka North and South Federal Constituency, Mr. Obi Nwankwo and the member representing Awka South Constituency Two who is seeking re-election, Honorable Chukwuma Okoye paid a courtesy call on the traditional rulers of the communities to receive their royal blessings.

The traditional rulers Igwe Timothy Ezenwaka of Ezinator, Igwe Joel Egwuonwu of Umuawulu, Obi Gibson Nwosu of Awka and Igwe Peter Anugwu of Mbaukwu prayed for the three APGA candidates and gave them their blessings.

 

Honourable Nwankwo who is currently representing Njikoka, Anaocha and Dunukofia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly listed all his achievements through the Dozie Nwankwo Foundation and urged his supporters to focus on issues while campaigning for him by highlighting all his achievements in their various communities.

Honourable Nwankwo who also thanked the people for the show of love and support, said the request made by the different communities so far are part of his vision for the district while assuring to replicate the successes recorded in Njikoka, Anaocha and Dunukofia Federal Constituency in Anambra Central Senatorial District if elected.

Contributing, the Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA in Anambra State, Mr. Tony Omeligwe-Elee maintained that track records of Honourable Dozie Nwankwo, Mr Obi Nwankwo and Honourable Chukwuma Okoye supersede that of their counterparts in all areas and asked the electorate to support them with their votes.

 

At Amawbia, Honourable Okoye stated that Honourable Dozie Nwankwo and Mr Obi Nwankwo have been proven to be individuals of good repute.

Receiving the entourage in their communities, a former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Sir Harford Oseke, the President-General of Isiagu community Mr Udochukwu Nnebedum, APGA Ward Two Chairman in Nise, Mr. Johnson Okafor, an APGA stakeholder in Awka, Mr. Jude Agumadu and a one-time Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly and former member of the House of Representatives Right Honourable Anayo Nnebe urged the electorate to desist from selling their votes.
