The APGA Senatorial candidate for the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Dr Anthony Ezekwugo has called on residents of the area to use the remaining days to go for the collection of their Permanent Voter Cards, which he described as the real tool to bring about positive democratic environment.

Speaking shortly after he joined Igbos in Abuja at their just concluded beginning of the year thanksgiving, Dr Ezekwugo said Nigerians should no longer shy away from effecting democratic change of government pointing out that it is the only way to put public officers in check.

According to him, once those in elective offices discover that the electorate are ready to remove bad leaders through the ballots, they would not want to be found lagging behind in delivery of democracy dividends.

The APGA FCT Senatorial candidate reminded Igbos that they have the population to put good leaders into offices, insisting that the Federal Capital Territory needed a strong voice at the red chambers of the national assembly.

He bemoaned the hunger, want and deprivation facing Nigerians, saying time was ripe for harnessing competent and capable leaders to decide who gets what, when, why and how from the nation’s vast resources.
