Governor Chukwuma Soludo has flagged-off the construction of one point eight kilometer Ama Isi Udala road, Ifite-Ogwari in Ayamelum Local Government Area.
The road flag-off featured handing of site certificate to New Idea Construction Company, represented the Chairman, Igwe Ben Emeka of Umueri.
The road construction work, which has commenced since December 2022, is expected to be completed within five months.
Governor Soludo, while performing the function, reassured the people of his resolve to deliver strategic roads that will improve the standard of living of ndi Anambra.
He used the opportunity to appreciate the people of Ayamelum, especially Ifite-Ogwari, for their support during his election, and urgedthem to double the support for APGA come February twenty-fifth and March eleventh.
On his part, the Contractor, Igwe Emeka, gave assurance of delivering quality job that will be durable.
APGA candidates including, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano for Anambra North Senatorial District, Lady Maureen Gwacham for Oyi and Ayamelum Federal Constituency, and the Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor, who is the candidate of APGA for Ayamelum State Constituency, while addressing the gathering, promised effective representation and good synergy with Governor Soludo for a better Anambra State.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Barrister Tony Ifeanyi, MD/ CEO of ARTMA, Engineer Emeka Okonkwo, Transition Committee Chairman of Ayamelum Council Area, Mr. Livy Onyenwe, among others, attended the function.
