Organization of Igbo Hebrew Culture Heritage International has called on government at different levels to invest more in Agriculture for food security and minimizing the sufferings of the masses.

The organization made the call through the International Co-ordinator, Rabbi Ikechukwu Ogugua when he in company of some members paid a courtesy visit on the Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Sir Chido Obidiegwu in his office at the Anambra Broadcasting Service Corporate Headquarters in Awka.

The Rabbi explained that the organization which is nongovernmental and a collaborative cultural and social organization between Jewish friends of Ndi Igbo and a cross section of Igbo elders, traditional rulers, intellectuals, students, market women and civil society groups in Igbo land, is primarily established to spearhead the sensitization of the people both at home and in the diaspora on community development using agriculture and rural development projects.

Revealing some of the efforts of the organization towards agricultural and rural development in Igbo land, Rabbi Ogugua solicited ABS partnership in publicizing the organization’s activities.

Responding, the Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Sir Chido commended the group on its objective which he observed is in line with the vision of the present administration of Professor Chukwuma Soludo which according to him is passionate towards agricultural and rural development, asking them to attract more international help to the State to assist the Soludo’s developmental agenda.
