Governor Chukwuma Soludo has continued his project monitoring across the state; as he inspected the five point one Kilometers Abagana – Nimo road in Njikoka Local Government Area of the state.
The Governor, accompanied by some stakeholders and top government functionaries, carried out the inspection from Abagana down to Nimo.
Speaking during the exercise, Governor Soludo, who assured of quality and durable infrastructure under his leadership, noted that the unscheduled visit was to ensure that the project is being executed according to plan.
Emphasizing that his next visit will be to commission the road, Governor Soludo called on the people to keep supporting APGA government for a better Anambra State.
The Transition Committee Chairman of Njikoka Local Government Area, Mr. Clement Aguiyi, while welcoming Governor Soludo, appreciated him for having the interest of Njikoka at heart.
He noted that the work Governor Soludo is doing in Njikoka and Anambra at large speaks volume of where Anambra will be in the near future, and tasked the people of Njikoka for their unflinching support to Governor Soludo-led administration.
On his part the state Commissioner for works, Engineer Ifeanyi Okoma, who said that the road project requires the supervision of everyone for effective service delivery, promised that the project will be completed within the next five months.
The member representing Njikoka Two Constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly, and APGA candidate for Njikoka, Anaocha and Dunukofia Federal Constituency, Honourable Pete Ibida, APGA candidate for Njikoka One Constituency, Mr. Chidi Ibemeka, his Njikoka Two Constituency counterpart, Dr Jude Akpua, all commended Governor Soludo and encouraged the people to return the gesture by supporting APGA candidates in the forthcoming elections.
The state Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Ms Chiamaka Nnake, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Retired Air Vice Marshall Ben Chiobi, and the Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief Protocol to the Governor, Mr. Chinedu Nwoye, explained that the road is very strategic in tapping the opportunities in Njikoka and environs.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, traditional rulers, community leaders were part of the function held at Girls Secondary School Abagana.
