An education consultancy firm, Stellated Bilateral Educational Consultancy, has begun a campaign for secondary school students in Anambra State to study foreign languages.
Representatives of the organization made this known during a flagship programme on Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, “Nzuko Anambra”.
The phone-in programme which was tagged “Benefits of Teaching and Learning Foreign Languages in Secondary School System in Anambra State”, was aimed at assessing, understanding and offering a deeper understanding of the culture, mentality and history of other countries of the world.
Speaking shortly after the programme, the Head of Operations, Stellated Bilateral Educational Consultancy, Mr Stephen Ifeacho said that the organization is a new outfit that is involved in teaching and learning of foreign languages and providing the basic logistics needed in teaching the languages with the intention of raising globalized students who will spearhead economic and industrial revolution across the world.
Mr Ifeacho disclosed that they have two major plans, with the major target being to partner various secondary schools in Anambra State with the goal of producing sound kids that will be equipped academically to represent Nigeria in the nearest future and hailed Governor Chukwuma Soludo for providing them an enabling environment for learning while describing him as one who is passionate about education.
Interacting with some students who have already shown interest in the scheme, the Managing Director of ABS, Sir Chido Obidiegwu appreciated the teachers for an excellent job in teaching the students foreign languages such as Confucius, Spanish, German, French, Chinese among others and assured them of programme partnership so as to help other children learn from them.
