The Executive Chairman, Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, ASUBEB Awka, Dr Vera Nwadinobi has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for approving the promotion of teachers barely one month of recruiting over five thousand teachers in Anambra state.
Dr. Nwadinobi made the commendation during the commencement of promotion interview for Tutorial and Non-Tutorial Staff of the Board who are due for promotion for the year 2021 and 2022 respectively.
The exercise was conducted under the Supervision of the Executive Chairman, Permanent Board Members, Board Secretary, Ex-officio members of the Board, Directors and other senior officers of the Board.
The ASUBEB Chairman who expressed gratitude to the Governor noted that his approval for the promotion interview for over three thousand teachers who are due for promotion for the year 2021 and 2022 respectively despite the recent recruitment of five thousand teachers shows that he meant well for Anambra students and their teachers.
Dr. Nwadinobi charged the staff to be more committed and dedicated to duty so as to assist the governor in actualizing his dream of a livable and prosperous Anambra state.
Teaching and non-Teaching Staff who are due for promotion to Salary Grade level fifteen and salary Grade level sixteen took their exams at Igwebuike Grammar School and Saint John of God Secondary School respectively and their oral interview was taken at ASUBEB Headquarters, Awka.
