With the first fixture for the 2023 general elections just a week away, Anambra State Governor’s wife, Nonye Soludo, has asked voters in the state to prioritize integrity, antecedents and vision in their choice of who to vote for.

Mrs. Soludo, who stated this in Awka, explained that it is important for those voting in the elections to understand the important right they hold on governance.

She pointed out that the people, by identifying with a particular political choice, must now decide on the kind of leaders they wish to entrust their destinies into their hands for the next four years.

The Governor’s wife also urged the electorate to assess each candidate vying in the forthcoming elections on integrity and credibility of their plans for the people based on past records, and reminded voters that the choice they make at the polls would ultimately determine the kind of future they want for both the present and coming generations.

The Anambra first lady further explained that the coming elections occupy an important place in Nigeria’s journey of democracy, and appealed to voters to reject desperate politicians, who want to buy their way into power.

She also advised eligible voters in Anambra State to come out on the election days and cast their votes, assuring them that government has made adequate security arrangements for the safety of everyone.
