It was one of such events that stick to the memory for lifetime as Margaret Onabe, the Public Relations Officer of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Anambra State Command, exchanged nuptial vows with her partner, Maurice Chime.
A holy mass to celebrate the wedding was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish, Uwani, Enugu.
In a homily , Reverend Father Peter Achala while addressing the couple , asked them to embrace prayer and stick to the individual uniqueness that brought them together.
He also urged those who have come to witness the holy union, to continue to pray for the couple, with the understanding that marriage is a unique journey of life.
In an interview, the father of the bride, Major General Dele Ogunkale, said that he was happy that his daughter has finally found a home of her own, noting that with the groom being exceptionally humble, he was sure his daughter has found a man of her dreams.
The bride’s mother, Mrs Bridget Nku said she raised her daughter to understand the value of patience and humility, a lesson that has taken her far all through life, and explained that it is also with patience and tolerance that any relationship can survive.
For the bride, now Mrs Margaret Chime, while she described her husband as God’s special gift, said they will be directly involved with God in raising a perfect home that would reflect the good foundations laid by their parents.
The husband, Mr Maurice Chime noted that Margaret possesses excellent character to be called a wife, and thanked God who brought the bride his way.
Family members, friends, colleagues and well-wishers, graced the marriage ceremony.
