The Anambra State Chairman of the Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities, JONAPWD, Comrade Ugochukwu Okeke, has said that with assurance of adequate security arrangement for members, and Independent National Electoral Commission having trained them on how to use the ballot paper, they will participate actively in the 2023 general elections scheduled to start this Saturday.

Speaking with ABS Correspondent, Joseph Egbeocha in Awka, Comrade Ugochukwu explained that mobilization for JONAPWD members to register for Permanent Voters Card started since last general elections, and resulted in about eighty percent of them having their PVC’
