The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Victor Oye, has commended the hitch-free process at the polls yesterday describing it as seamless.

 

Chief Oye was speaking to journalists after he exercised his franchise at his polling booths, Ngene Ward Three Amawbia Unit 002.

 

Chief Oye said he was among the first set of people to vote at his polling booth and the whole processes were very smooth.

 

He expressed satisfaction with the massive turnout of the voters who were eager and enthusiastic to vote, while commending INEC for making the process move very fine.

 

The Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger, and Bishop of Awka Diocese, the Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim who voted at Ward Six Amikwo Awka, Unit 009, noted that the turnout of the voters was commendable, noting that they crave for good leadership and lauded the level of measures put in place by INEC and commitment towards making the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS work.

 

Archbishop Ibezim asked INEC to ensure that the actual result is pronounced, expressing hope that Nigeria by the grace of God will stand on a good footing after the whole exercise.

 

He commended the level of security presence in his polling unit.
