As Nigerians await patiently for the announcement of their new leader, the INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, has reassured that no one will be left behind in the 2023 general election

 

 

 

The INEC Chairman who was speaking at the national collation center in Abuja said in other to see that nobody is disenfranchised in the election he authorized the opening of one hundred and forty-one polling units for the Presidential, Senatorial, and Federal constituencies election

 

 

 

According to him, the need for a credible and transparent process are some of his reasons for a continuous briefing to enlighten the public on the stages of the electioneering process

 

 

 

Our Correspondent in Abuja, Ekwii Ajide reports that the INEC Chairman enjoined citizens of the states to take advantage of the extension to discharge their civic rights to achieve the desired result

 

 

 

He also gave clarifications on the Edo State National Assembly election, which he said will now hold on the 11th of March.
