The plans of raising 1000 youth millionaires and creating 130,000 private sector jobs annually by the Soludo led administration has continued to wax strong as the state through the Ministry of Youth Development conclude training of Entrepreneurship Development Institute in Awka.

 

The Entrepreneurship Development Institutes are those who will champion the entrepreneural stage of the One Youth Two Skills Entrepreneurship Scheme to ensure the purpose of the initiative is maximized.

The two day training was organized by the state Ministry of Youth Development in partnership with Unizik Business School.

 

The training which witnessed series of lectures and interactive sessions climaxed with presentation of certificates to the Entrepreneurship Development Institutes who successfully complete the training by the Unizik Business School to affirm that they are qualified to carry out the task as expected.

The State Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Patrick Aghamba and the Deputy Director Unizik Business School, Professor Chinedu Onyeizugbe who jointly perform the function charged them to carry out their assignment with sense of responsibility which they said is very critical in achieving the objective of the One Youth Two Skills Initiative.

 

They tasked them to make the Governor Soludo’s agenda of creating one hundred and thirty thousand private sector jobs and one thousand youth millionaires annually a reality.

Some of the participants including Ekong Nancy of the Industrial Training Fund and the Chairman, Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprise NASME, Mr Chinemerem Oguegbe assured to put in their best and thanked Governor Chukwuma Soludo for paying much attention on youth development and also the organizers of the training for doing a great job.

 

They expressed hope that the One Youth Two Skills Entrepreneurship Scheme will transcend into a massive project that will redefine the economy of Anambra State and beyond.
