Women at the Well of Living Waters is a community centre for women, where they inspire, share and solve one another’s problem through scriptural backings and human development.
In his opening remark, the chairman on the occasion, Right Reverend Tony Okeke commended the passion and determination of the founding President to lift and support women who need help.
He charged young women on self-discovery, pointing out that everything they need to live a fulfilled life is at their disposal.
In an interview with ABS, the Founder and President W@W International, Jessica Edmund said she founded the centre after the unpalatable experience she went through during her Nine years of waiting on God for a child.
She narrated her experience which made her to dedicate her resources in building women to live for a purpose other than marriage and child bearing.
Mrs. Edmund further appreciated all those who supported her vision and made it a reality.
Some of the stakeholders who spoke to the ABS including Reverend Father Innocent Ekeagwu, Apostle and Mrs. Tony Nebolisa and an awardee, Mrs. Nkiru Ezeagbu encouraged women not to look down on themselves, pointing out that based on human standard the Samaritan woman was worth nothing but Jesus gave her a meaning.
