Ahead of the coming APGA Congress, the Anambra State Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism, Comrade Don Onyenji has called on the leadership of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in all the political wards within Idemili South Local Area to elect their candidates for various positions.
Comrade Onyenji made the call during the APGA stakeholders meeting in his residence in Akwu-ukwu.
He charged them to consider capacity to mobilize people, loyalty and commitment to the people and party while nominating the candidates to guarantee progress in the party.
He asked the various wards and candidates for the coming Congress election to pick their expression of interest forms free as approved by the Party leader and Governor of Anambra State Professor Chukwuma Soludo.
He informed them that it is the right of the ward to decide those who will be their leaders.
The Commissioner thanked God for taking the party thus far and commended Governor Soludo for his efforts in projecting the party forward.
He also thanked APGA faithful for their efforts and dedication to the party which led to their victory in the last elections.
On his part the APGA Idemili South Local Government Chairman Mr Jeo Ezeanya commended Governor Soludo for his decision to include the physically challenged persons into the affairs of APGA and inform the party faithful that the form would be issued free.
In his comment, the Secretary of the party in Idemili South, Mr James Ezeonu thanked God for helping the party to succeed in the past elections despite all odds and commended the party faithful for their struggles towards the success of the party.
The meeting attracted APGA Idemili South Local Government stakeholders and government appointees who devoted time to have a fruitful deliberations.
