The chairman, Anambra State Post Primary Schools Service Commission, PPSSC, Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu, has called on school principals in Anambra State, to provide sufficient specimen for students during examinations.
Professor Ikediugwu made this call during a visit to some secondary schools to monitor the on-going West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, Biology Practical.
On arrival at some of the schools visited, the supervisors and invigilators were yet to report for duty while at schools like, Anglican Girls Secondary School Ogidi, Saint Kizito Girls Secondary School Umudioka, Cave City Secondary School, Ogbunike and Community Secondary School Umunnachi, exams were jet to commence as at the time Professor Ikediugwu, arrived.
At Nnamdi Azikiwe Secondary School, Abagana, and Comprehensive Science and Technical College, Nawfia, the examination was on-going as at the time the PPSSC chairman got there.
Generally, Professor Ikediugwu, observed that the specimen provided for the students were not sufficient, including most common specimens and charged the principals to live up to their responsibilities.
