APGA state chairmanship aspirant in Anambra, Chief Anthony Nchekwube says it shall be APGA first under his stewardship.
Chief Nchekwube who was addressing his teeming crowd of supporters said that party supremacy and all-inclusiveness would be the hallmark of his State Working Committee if elected.
Chief Nchekwube who unveiled an eleventh Point Agenda Manifesto on Thursday said his leadership would produce a new generation of loyal party men and women who would be proud and identify with APGA, adding that under him, the party flag would be hoisted in every Anambra home.
He said he would work with party stakeholders and faithful to ensure a stable, bigger and formidable party that would enable Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration to smoothly execute his economic agenda within the deadline and in line with the party’s populist manifesto.
Chief Nchekwube promised to ensure that the leadership of the party holds meetings at the ward level at least every month for effective and robust engagements that could forestall potential setbacks.
He further stated that his plan is to continue to encourage more participation of women in politics within his area of influence from ward levels to the state level, noting that he had been an advocate of gender parity in political affairs for several years.
Chief Nchekwube declared that he would embark on aggressive membership drive across the 326 wards in Anambra and ensure that people of voting age got registered as APGA members as well encourage high net worth individuals to come in and support the party.
He promised to be Chairman for all APGA members and called on Congress delegates to vote for the mandate they can trust and vote for him come Tuesday, 23rd May 2023 to achieve greatness for the great party APGA” together.
