A human rights activist, Chief Obi Ochije-Modilm has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the construction and reconstruction of many feeder roads within Awka, the Anambra state capital.

 

 

 

Chief Ochije Modilim who made the commendation while speaking to newsmen in Awka, said that within one year in office, Governor Soludo has demonstrated enough capacity to turn around the economic fortunes of the state.

 

 

 

He noted that Awka has not had it so good in road construction and applauded the Governor for using competent contractors that are delivering quality jobs in road constructions.

 

 

 

Chief Ochije-Modilm who is a native of Awka maintained that so many roads the Governor has constructed or those currently going on has given the capital city a massive facelift, as well as changed its aesthetic look for better.

 

 

 

According to him, if the Governor completes the ongoing construction of the new Governor’s lodge and Government house, it will really reposition Awka for good and appealed to Ndi Anambra to keep supporting the Soludo administration.

 

 

 

Chief Ochije-Modilm who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, urged his party members to ensure that only competent leaders who can work with the mission and vision of Governor Soludo are elected during the coming congress of the party.
