The Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Innovation and Business Incubation, Ms Chinwe Okoli says Governor Soludo’s administration is poised to making Anambra the digital and creative capital of Nigeria.

 

Ms Okoli who disclosed this while speaking to the ABS in Awka explained that their target is to unleash the creative ingenuity of Ndi Anambra towards actualizing the prosperous and smart mega state initiative of Governor Soludo.

 

Ms. Okoli noted that they set up Solution Innovative District (SID) in order to build, activate and scale up innovation in Anambra, as well as to build the entire innovation ecosystem, comprising digital skills, start-ups, angel investors and platforms among others for innovation to thrive in Anambra.

 

The Special Adviser noted that Soludo administration wants to have community of inventors, technologies, social entrepreneurs, companies, government and smart artisans who provide solution to local and global problems.

 

According to her, government wants to democratize innovation by helping to take the opportunity closer to the Anambra youths and urged Ndi Anambra to embrace the scheme.

 

She commended governor Soludo for the giant strides his administration has already recorded in various sectors of the state and appealed to Ndi Anambra to always protect government’s facilities and projects sited in their localities.
