Work is in progress on the seven point eight kilometers Achina-Onne-Agbudu-Ogboji Road.
clearing has been completed up to Ogboji axis.
On arrival, ABS observed that earthwork and drainage construction have been completed up to Onne axis of the road.
The road, which is seven point eight kilometers in length and ten point three kilometers width, has three discharge points to Ekulo Stream .
Speaking at the site , the Managing Director of the construction company handling the project, Engineer Youssef Zghab, said that they have filled three gully erosion sites on the road and will construct drainage from the road to the stream.
He expressed satisfaction with the cooperation they are receiving from members of host communities, promising to deliver quality work and on schedule.
A legal practitioner from Onne Community, Barrister Anthony Onyebuchi, and a farmer, Chief Titus Krume, who affirmed that they cannot thank Governor Soludo enough for remembering them, stated that because they are predominantly farmers, the road is of huge economic benefits to them.
They added that it will also boost inter community relationship among themselves , assuring the governor of their support at all times.
