Yesterday across the globe is National Creativity Day.
National Creativity Day, a celebration of the power of imagination, is commemorated on May thirty every year to celebrate the imaginative spirits everywhere and to encourage them to keep creating.
The day, which has its theme as “Unleash Your creativity on the world”, also raises awareness of the importance of creativity and its impact on personal and professional growth.
It is also a day to honor the power of imagination and to encourage people to be creative in their everyday lives since creativity is a valuable skill that can be used in all areas of life, from work to relationships to personal growth.
National Creativity Day, which was first introduced in 2018 by Hal Croasmun, a writer, producer, and founder of ScreenwritingU, targets to encourage everyone to explore their creative potential and express themselves in different ways.
The purpose of this day is to inspire people to try new things, break out of their routine, and embrace their creativity.
While National Creativity Day is designed to celebrate all forms of creativity, from music and art to writing and design, it also challenges people to share their creativity on social media using the hashtag #NationalCreativityDay.
National Creativity Day, can be celebrated by writing a poem or short story, creating a painting or drawing, taking a photo or making a video, learning a new instrument or song, trying a new recipe or cooking technique and starting a creative journal or blog among numerous others to solve problems more effectively and not being limited by the status quo.
