The Deputy Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Dr. Paschal Agbodike has adjudged the National Convention of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) held at International Convention Center, Awka as transparent and credible.

Political Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that Dr. Agbodike gave the commendation while felicitating with Barrister Sylverster Ezeokenwa on his emergence as the National Chairman of APGA.

The Deputy Speaker observed that APGA runs an all inclusive administration by choosing a youth with leadership capacity to run the affairs of the party at the national level, thereby making him the youngest national chairman of a political party in Nigeria.

He expressed confidence in the ability of Mr. Ezeokenwa to steer APGA to more electoral victory in the near future as he did very well as a legal Adviser to the party and enjoyed a good working relationship with the immediate past National Chairman of the party, Dr. Victor Oye, whom he said took APGA to greater heights.

The Deputy Speaker urged the new APGA National Chairman to work in accordance with the party’s ideology and constitutional provisions to realise his vision for the party.

He observed that APGA places priority on youth empowerment for a disruptive change in the society, evidenced in many youths given appointments by Governor Chukwuma Soludo and charged them to take advantage of the opportunities the party has given them to effect the desired change in Nigeria nation.

On his part, the member representing Aguata One Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Dr. Carter Umeoduagu noted that it is time for youths to make a difference in the political arena with the opportunities Governor Soludo has given them.
