The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor says the God that is fully known is no God pointing out that God is omniscient that is beyond human understanding.

In a sermon at Saint Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church Ekwulobia, during a service of confirmation and admission into Girls guild, Women’s Guild and Anglican Men’s fellowship for all the parishes under the Cathedral Deanery, Bishop Ezeofor charged Christians to always recognize God as their father, warning them against disobeying His commandments.

 

Bishop Ezeofor who described the Holy Trinity as the bedrock of the Christian faith, maintained that for one to be a true child of God such a person must embrace Jesus Christ as Lord and personal saviour.

He charged the faithful especially those that received the sacrament of confirmation and those that were admitted into Girls guild, Women’s Guild and Anglican Men’s fellowship to always make their Christian Life felt anywhere they find themselves.

In their various remarks the Cathedral Administrator Venerable Ifeanyichukwu Ogbueli and Vicar of Saint Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church Ekwulobia Reverend Chukwujekwu Uduh, while thanking the Bishop for the visit charged Christian parents to always train their children properly in order to improve the moral tone of the society.

One hundred and thirty candidates received the sacrament of confirmation, thirty seven girls admitted into the Girls guild, eighty-one women admitted into the Women’s Guild and forty-six men into the Anglican Men’s fellowship during the service which was facilitated by Reverend Canon Paul Modekwe.

 

In separate interviews, Master Uchechukwu Okechukwu who received the sacrament of confirmation, Miss Adaobi Okpalaeke who was admitted into the Girls Guild, Mrs Chidiebele Okafor and Reverend Toochukwu Ezumezu who were admitted into Women’s Guild and Anglican Men’s fellowship respectively promised to use their various positions in winning more souls for Christ.
