The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor says without being born again it will be difficult for one to see the kingdom of God.
In a sermon at Saint Christopher’s Anglican Church Umunze in Orumba South Local Government Area during a service of confirmation, admission into Girl’s Guild, Women’s Guild and Anglican Men’s Fellowship for all the parishes under Umunze Archdeaconry, Bishop Ezeofor charged Christians to allow the word of God to manifest in their daily lives.
Bishop Ezeofor maintained that every child of God needs the word of God, which he said will make them have eternal life, in addition to Possessing their possession.
He cautioned Christians against envy, life of deceit and hypocrisy reminding them of the need to live lives that are capable of portraying Christianity positively.
Bishop Ezeofor who during the service elevated the church to a Parish, charged those that received the sacrament of confirmation and those that were admitted into various groups to make the word of God their daily companion in order to receive salvation.
In a remark, the Vicar of Saint Christopher’s Anglican Church Umunze, Reverend Ugochukwu Anigbo who thanked the bishop for the visit, charged the faithful to always use their individual profession and destiny in working out their salvation.
Two hundred and thirty candidates received the sacrament of confirmation, while forty-three girls were admitted into the girl’s guild.
Ninety women were admitted into the Women’s Guild and sixteen men into the Anglican Men’s fellowship during the service, which was attended by the president of Aguata Diocesan Women’s Ministry Mrs. Chinyere Ezeofor and some Diocesan officials.
