The Transition Committee Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Area Engineer Chris Obiorah, has commended Governor Soludo for his efforts to empower families in Anambra to become economically stable and live above poverty level.
Engineer Obiorah gave the commendation at the Council Headquarters, Nnewi while taking the delivery of five thousand coconut seedlings and fifteen thousand palm seedlings.
According to Engineer Obiorah, the coconut and oil palm economy the Governor Soludo led administration has introduced and working hard to build will not only help the beneficiaries leave poverty for life but will also grow the economy of the state tremendously.
For the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South, Mrs. Amaka Obi who took delivery of six thousand coconut seedlings and eighteen thousand palm seedlings, what Anambra State is witnessing is the dividends of having a visionary leader and encouraged the beneficiaries to maximize every opportunity provided by the State government to better their family and at the long run contribute to the economic growth and development of Anambra State.
She advised the committees to distribute them accordingly at the various wards.
On his part, the Transition Committee Chairman of Oyi Local Government Area, Mr. Emmanuel Nweke who took delivery of twenty-two thousand five hundred oil palm and seven thousand five hundred coconut seedlings from the State government, thanked Governor Soludo for his investment in agriculture and promised that the seedlings will evenly be distributed across the fifteen wards in Oyi Local Government Area.
He encouraged the people of Oyi Local Government Area to venture into agriculture as their soil is fertile for agricultural activities.
