Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has reiterated the need for every ‘onye Anambra” to participate fully in the development of their communities for the overall good of the state.

Governor Soludo was speaking at Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area, when he visited the one point seven-kilometer erosion control drainage system built by a philanthropist, Sir Emeka Okwuosa.

 

The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Environment, Engineer Felix Odimegwu, commended Sir Emeka Okwuosa, for keying into the developmental vision of the present administration, noting that the project will go very far in curbing the erosion challenges in the community.

Others dignitaries at the event were the Commissioner for Local Government, Mr. Tony Collins Nwabunwanne, and the Transition Committee Chairman of Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Mr. Chimezie Obi.
