The Transition Committee Chairman for Orumba South Local Government Area, Prince Neville Uchendu has assured Governor Chukwuma Soludo that many well-meaning citizens of Orumba South are ready to support his local investment agenda to improve the production capacity of the state as well as the revenue profile of the government.
Speaking at Umunze during a facility tour of Bonjuk Food and Beverages Company Limited Umunze, Prince Uchendu commended the efforts of the Chairman of the Company, Chief Ebuka Enwere in reducing hunger and unemployment in the state.
The Orumba South Council Boss who expressed satisfaction that one of the prominent sons of Orumba South, Chief Enwere from Owerre-Ezukala was among the first industrialists in the state to key into Governor Soludo’s development agenda, called on other affluent citizens of Orumba South to emulate Chief Enwere.
He pleaded with the host community, Umunze, to see the facility as their own by providing adequate security in and around the facility at all times.
In his speech, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Chief Enwere in company of his staff, took the Transition Committee Chairman, Chief Uchendu and his entourage round the two-storey building facility plant which also houses staff quarters.
Chief Enwere who expressed satisfaction with the Chairman’s tour, revealed that the company is first of its kind in Nigeria with a modern machine in water production and treatment, adding that the company has the capability to produce three thousand bottled and sachet water per hour respectively as well as a standard three hindered-kva transformer which also serves the inhabitants of the locality.
The Transition Committee Chairman, Prince Uchendu was accompanied to the facility tour by some members of the Local Government Transition Committee as well as notable stakeholders in the Council Area.
