The Anambra State Local Government Service Commission in its quest to further improve productivity and service delivery has taken steps to introduce Servicom Desk Officers in the Unified 21Local Government areas of Anambra State.
The Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Barrister, Vin Ifeanyi Ezeaka, while addressing the management and principal officers in the Commission Chamber stated that the decision is to creat the culture of responsibility and accountability in local government service delivery with the ultimate goal of enhancing staff performance for improved productivity.
The LGSC boss restated his commitment to transform the Local Government system into a result driven and problem solving organization capable to stand shoulder to shoulder with other Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
Chief, Hon. Barrister Vin, Ifeanyi Ezeaka further revealed that as a firm believer in the strategic importance of Local Government in the development of the Grassroots and local economy, he shall continue to superintend all necessary reforms to reinvigorate the erstwhile moribund council system into a thriving economic powerhouse in the productive sector of Anambra State.
He therefore changed the 21 Council authorities to nominate three staff each to be trained as Servicom Desk Officers.
