The Anambra State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Ifeatu Obi Okoye has constituted three strategic committees to accelerate the realization of the new shared vision of his executive.

 

The committees were set up at a joint meeting of the State Working Committee, SWC, and the twenty-one Local Government party Chairmen of the party at APGA state secretariat in Awka.

 

They include Strategy and Tactical Committee headed by Honourable Mark Okoye Jnr, with Honourable Anthony Nchekwube as Secretary, Chief Jude Emecheta, Dr. Chibuike Oforbuike, Honourable Arinze Awogu, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu, Honourable Obiajulu Nwoye, Chief Chris Okonkwo and Honourable Amara Anazodo as members.

 

The Truth and Reconciliation Committee, is chaired by a former Deputy Governor of the state, Chief Emeka Sibeudu, with Barrister Innocent Okafor as Secretary, Dr N.M Nwadiogbu, Barrister Austin Enendu, Barrister Obi Nweke, Barrister Tex Ikechukwu, Chief Theophine Nnoli, Ebele Mercy Onyekwelu, and Barrister Clems Aguiyi as members.

 

The Business and Works Committee has the state Chairman of APGA, Deputy Chairman, Secretary, Vice Chairman North, Vice Chairman Central, Vice Chairman South, Woman Leader, Youth Leader, and Publicity Secretary as members.

 

In his remark, Chief Obi-Okoye informed the meeting of the agenda of the party state executive to open up APGA to the people, and allow everyone interested in joining to feel welcomed at every level.

 

He emphasized the commitment of his executive to rebrand and reposition APGA for greater exploits, adding that under his watch, affairs of the party cannot continue to be run with unbridled “cult-like mentality.

 

Chief Obi-Okoye also stated that a major project of his administration is to return Governor Chukwuma Soludo for a second term with a landslide victory.
