Commendations have continued to trail the Agricultural programmes and policies of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in Anambra State.
Some of the respondents, who spoke in an interview with the ABS, were of the view that the policies and programmes of the Soludo administration will go a long way in rekindling the interest of people in Agriculture.
One of the respondents, who is the president general of Isuofia People’s Assembly, in Aguata Local Government Area, Chief Jude Okeke, disclosed that the Agricultural revolution of Governor Soludo, will apart from creating jobs, ensure availability of food and cash crops in addition to improving the revenue profile of the state.
Chief Okeke, who thanked Governor Soludo for series of innovations he is introducing in various sectors of the state economy, maintained that the distribution of Palm and Coconut seedlings across all council areas, is part of efforts to assist practicing farmers and Ndi Anambra with improved farm inputs for increased yield.
He also spoke on road infrastructure of the Soludo administration, pointing out the ongoing construction and reconstruction of roads across the state will go a long way in opening up the hinterlands for enhanced human and vehicular movements to ensure effective and efficient business transactions.
Chief Okeke also called on Ndi Anambra to help in developing the state in addition to offering employment to the teeming youths by bring part of their investments home.
For a community leader at Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Area, Chief Osita Ezechukwu, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has through his people-oriented programs and policies restored public confidence in governance.
Chief Ezechukwu, who is a chieftain of the All-Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, described the road infrastructure development of the Soludo administration as one capable of attracting more investors into the state.
On the removal of the subsidy on petroleum products, Chief Ezechukwu described it as a positive move capable of strengthening the economy and urged the federal government to initiate palliatives that will cushion its effects on the people.
