A chieftain of the All progressives Grand Alliance APGA Chief Boniface Egbutu has described the town hall meeting between Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Ndi Anambra resident in the federal capital territory Abuja as a sign of a leader who is committed to serving his people.
Speaking to the ABS in Awka, Chief Egbutu was of the view that town hall meetings are necessary in democratic governance as according to him it will enable the people to get abreast of what the administration has done and other areas that need attention as governance is a collective responsibility.
Chief Egbutu who is a community leader at Nise in Awka South local government area, said that the town hall meeting between Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Ndi Anambra resident in Abuja, will no doubt build more confidence of the people in the administration of Professor Chukwuma Soludo.
He said that the Governor has through his people oriented Programmes and policies especially the gradual return of effective security of lives and property restored public confidence in governance.
Chief Egbutu maintained that the massive road construction and reconstruction by the Soludo administration in different parts of the state will in no small measure open up the hinterlands in addition to boosting businesses.
He called on NdiAnambra to continue with their support and prayers for the Governor.
Contributing the President-General of Isuofia People’s Assembly Chief Jude Chikadibia Okeke said that the town Hall meeting between Governor Chukwuma Soludo and Ndi Anambra in Abuja is a major step towards achieving a robust development in Anambra State.
According to the President General of Isuofia People’s Assembly Chief Chikadibia Okeke, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has through the town hall meeting re-introduced grassroots briefing of the citizenry with a view to informing Ndi Anambra in the Federal capital territory Abuja what the government has in stock for the people and challenges with a view to proffering solution to them because according to him the development of Anambra State is a collective responsibility.
