The member representing Anambra West Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Patrick Obalum-Udoba has called on the elders and Stakeholders of the area to take ownership and protect all government facilities in the Constituency.

 

Hon. Obalum-Udoba was speaking while addressing the elders and stakeholders of the constituency at Umueze Anam.

 

Speaking during the event organized to appreciate Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the ongoing connection of Umueze Anam-Inoma to national grid, Hon. Obialum-Udoba commended Governor Soludo for his developmental strides in the state, and in Anambra West in particular.

 

The lawmaker assured the Governor that Ndi Anambra West will continue to support his administration and appealed to him to ensure that his administration completes all the ongoing projects in the area as well as initiate and complete new ones that are crucial to the socio-economic development of the area.

 

The National President, Anam Peoples Assembly, Chief Mike Nnakwuzie also commended the Governor for his innovative leadership style, and appealed to him to ensure that Anambra West has motorable roads, pipe borne water, quality education among others like their counterparts in the state for even development.

 

For the traditional ruler of Umuoba Anam, Igwe George Obalim-Ekwealor, the Anambra state government should prioritize the problem of Ndi Anambra West as the food basket of the state and collaborate with the federal government to end the perennial flooding threatening the people of the area.
