The Archdeacon, Amawbia Archdeaconry and Vicar, Saint Peters Church, Amawbia, Venerable Vincent Nkemdilim says thanksgiving is an important and critical part of Christianity.

 

Venerable Nkemdilim stated this in a sermon during a Sunday service with the theme’ The Power of Thanksgiving urged them to embrace it.

He cited the book of Saint Paul who x-rayed the importance of thanksgiving and gives instructions on need to hold unto it together with prayers as a way of showing gratitude and love to God.

 

Venerable Nkemdilim enumerated benefits of appreciation through thanksgiving and reminded the church that whatever contribution made for the sake of Christ Kingdom will be remembered at the last day.

At Annunciation Parish, Awka, the Parish Priest, Reverend Father Victor Igwegbe asked Christians to bear good fruits, love one another and live a righteous life for others to see Christ in them and repent, urging them to

 

pray for their enemies, strengthen the weak, poor in spirits and the sick among others.

Also, at the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim, Amenyi Awka, Evangelist Victor Nwaigbo on the topic’ there is always a reward’ reminded all that whatever one sows, that he or she will reap urging all to live positively and righteously.
