The Anambra State Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye has urged indigenes of the state in Abuja and the diaspora to support Governor Chukwuma Soludo in his drive to build a solid investment base in the state.

 

Political Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that Chief Obi-Okoye made the appeal in Abuja while speaking to journalists during Governor Soludo’s Town Hall meeting with indigenes of the state in Abuja.

 

The State APGA Chairman observed that investing in the state is a way to develop the state’s economy and attract foreign investment, adding that Ndi Anambra should be the ones to lay the foundation for investments in the state.

 

Chief Obi-Okoye reminded the people that their greatest assets are the ones in their homeland, urging them to embrace Governor Soludo’s Think Home Agenda as a necessary course of action at this time.

 

He appreciated Ndi Anambra for coming out en-masse for the town hall meeting, noting that it is a true reflection of their acceptance of the transformation the Governor is bringing to the State.

 

The town hall meeting which was chaired by Sir. Emeka Offor was also attended by the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, Former Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, member representing Anambra Central in the National Assembly, Senator Victor Umeh and his Anambra North and South counterparts, Senator Tony Nwoye and Senator Ifeanyi Ubah respectively among others.
