Ndi Anambra have been urged to support the ongoing fight against criminality in the state by Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.

 

 

 

A chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Obi Ochije Modilim gave this charge while speaking with the ABS in Awka.

 

 

 

According to Chief Modilim, security is everybody’s business and as such, all men of goodwill should support the Anambra state government in his fight against all forms of criminality and social vices in the state.

 

 

 

The APGA chieftain who is a community leader in Awka, noted that no meaningful development will take place anywhere in the world without adequate security of the lives and property of the people, and commended the Anambra state government for the successes recorded so far in the onslaught against insecurity.

 

 

 

He appealed to the citizenry and other residents of the state to always give out timely information to the various security agencies in the state each time they noticed any untoward behaviour or actions within their vicinities.

 

 

 

Chief Modilim further commended various security agencies working in Anambra state for their dedications and resilience in protecting the lives and property of Ndi Anambra and urged them not to relent.

 

 

 

The Community leader advised parents, guardians and caregivers to always monitor the attitude of their children and wards at all times to ensure that they do not join bad gangs and thereby causing nuisance and societal problems in their various communities.

 

 

 

He further urged Anambra youths to take advantage of various youth-oriented policies and programmes of the Soludo led administration geared towards uplifting their lives to become self-reliant, financially independent and useful to themselves, their families and the society in general.
