The Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze says Governor Chukwuma Soludo has made practical efforts within one year and four months in office to step up development in all sectors of the State economy.
In his goodwill message to the Governor on behalf of the State Legislature on his sixty-third birthday, Right Honourable Udeze noted that Governor Soludo has used his professional training as a renowned Professor of Economics in ensuring prudent management of the State resources.
The Speaker recounted some of the accomplishments of Governor Soludo so far to include massive employment of teachers and doctors, ongoing road construction in all the local government areas, rehabilitation of local government secretariates, transformation of Awka into a befitting state capital, building of more general hospitals, provision of adequate security, improved agricultural among others.
He maintained that the State Legislature has resolved to continue to support Governor Soludo’s development efforts through the enactment of people-oriented laws and resolutions and called on politicians in the state irrespective of their party affiliations to join hands with the governor in moving the state forward.
The State number one lawmaker, while wishing Governor Soludo more eventful years ahead, prayed God to continue to strengthen the Governor for more accomplishments.
