Behold the King’s College, Nteje, popularly known as Manbo School, has held her seventh anniversary and graduation ceremony of her students.
The event which took place at the school premises, attracted students, staff and management of the school, parents as well as friends of the school.
The mission of Behold the King’s College, Nteje, is to shape the academic aspirations of her learners and make them productive citizens of Nigeria.
In his remarks, the Proprietor, Mr Innocent Nweke popularly known as Manbo, expressed confidence the school in the nearest future would further expand with branches within and outside Nigeria and its products becoming source of inspiration to the entire nation.
He noted that as a private school, they complement government in reducing unemployment and appealed to government to also encourage them by providing motorable roads, tax holiday as well as school bus.
One of the teachers, Mr Patrick Ejimofor in a welcome address, revealed that the school which was established in 2016 with forty-five students and three teachers, now boast of over five hundred students and twenty-eight competent teachers.
He emphasised that they are light that have come to show the way, and essential tools to advance knowledge for the overall success of the human race, even as he promised that they will not be afraid to tread into any areas where excellence is possible.
One of the parents of the graduands, Mrs Gloria Anara spoke highly of the school and the quality of education it impacts on students but appealed to the management to reduce the graduation fees being paid by students.
In their separate remarks, some of the graduands, including Miss Chioma Nwafeh, Masters Chukwunonso Oboh and Dennis Okafor, recounted their stay in the school, appreciating the efforts their teachers and parents made to bring them this far, even as they look forward to furthering their education.
Farewell song, mkpokiti cultural dance, hip pop dance, costume displays by the graduands, cutting of cake were some of the side attractions at the ceremony.
