More facts are emerging in the in the case between State Commissioner of Police and Chief Chijioke Okaa and Olufemi Salako at the Chief Magistrate Court sitting at Nnobi, Idemmli South Council Area. The Court was presided over by Chief Magistrate Ken Nwoye.

 

Still testifying during cross examination by Counsel to the first Defendant Barrister Charity Ndife , the second prosecution witness, Miss Victoria Mbachu told the court that she did not conspire with with the second defendant Olufemi Salako to run away from Nnobi after selling the property to the compliant, Mr Bonaventure Ezekwenna and has no intention of relocating from her home to any other place in spite of pressure from the second defendant.

Miss Mbachu equally told the court that she did not conspire with the second defendant to defraud the complaint and has never been involved in shady or fraudulent land dealings insisting that she handed all necessary documents and rent receipts of the property to Mr Ezekwenna before travelling out of the town .

She said she was not aware that the first defendant obtained consent of members of her kindred before commencing building of structure in her compound nor was she aware that the first defendant gave ten million naira to her aunt and her son before he knocked down the obu in the compound and started building.

Miss Mbachu also said she was equally not aware that her aunt and her son sign a document with the first defendant for the counpound.

The case was later adjourned to Friday September 15 for continuation of hearing.
