The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor has called for all hands to be on deck in achieving an Anambra State of our dream.

Speaking on the 32nd year Anniversary of the State, Right Reverend Ezeofor said that with collective efforts, Anambra State will continue to record sustainable growth and development.

According to Bishop Ezeofor, Anambra State has quality human and material resources that when properly harnessed will make it the Dubai of Africa.

He charged the people of Anambra State to see its development as a collective responsibility reminding them of the need to jettison those ideas and behavior that will stagnate the development of the state.

Right Reverend Ezeofor called for a sustained cordial relationship among the three arms of government in Anambra State, urging people to always remember those in leadership positions in their prayers.

He paid glowing tribute to all the founding fathers of Anambra State, for their resilience and charged the people to always maintain and protect the sobriquet of the state as the light of the nation.

Bishop Ezeofor who described the Youths as future leaders, called on government at different levels to create more employment opportunities for them, and commended the “one youth, two skills” Initiative of the Anambra State government which he noted will not only make the Youths self-reliant but also employers of labour.
