An Anambra based industrialist, Chief Innocent Chukwuma has extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s passion for local brands and for the development of Anambra State and Nigeria at large.
Chief Chukwuma in an interview with the ABS in his county home, Nnewi acknowledged that supporting made in Nigeria products will be a major game changer in upturning the dwindling economic situation in Nigeria.
chief Chukwuma who emphasized the importance of production economy to include, job and wealth creation, economic stability, increase in income per capital and improved revenue for the government said that Nigeria is blessed with natural resources to become a complete nation that can grow beyond imagination through exportation.
He said that Nigeria is witnessing great set back in economic growth, development and increase in poverty because of importation, which implies taking out the capital base of the country to enrich other nations.
Chief Chukwuma pointed out the need for government at all levels and individuals to take local brands very serious just like Governor Soludo who practically is using made in Anambra and Nigeria, products.
He however called on Ndi Anambra and other people across Nigeria and globally to come and invest in Anambra pointing out that Governor Soludo is making the environment more friendly for investor and for business to grow.
Speaking on Subsidy Removal, Chief Chukwuma acknowledged that subsidy has not helped the growth of Nigeria adding that it’s a right decision that will benefit Nigerians in the near future.
He commended Governor Soludo for his interim measure rolled out to cushion the effects of subsidy removal and called on the people to be steadfast and always support good policies of the state government.
He also applauded Governor Soludo for his giant strides in the areas of road infrastructure, education, health, youths’ empowerment and job creation, ICT among others, and assured of his continuous partnership in the development of Anambra State.
